An aromatic set featuring pear tarts, thyme and wet concrete meld into flavors like lime zest, grapefruit and a touch of apple cider vinegar. Prepare to pucker, for this is a light-bodied bolt of lightning-like acidity. — Michael Alberty (Wine Enthusiast) Wine Folly : Pg. 97 Chardonnay -- I 100% tasted pear notes shown in the Additional Tasting Notes chart as the first flavor. I tasted hints of apple and smoke as the flavor progressed. Also, I could taste a bit of a toast or bread aftertaste. Pg. 96 Chardonnay, shows flavors like butter and vanilla, which I did not get tastes of. As for aromas, at first sniff, I got notes of pear, which is mentioned.
